Last Week's Results:

 

This past week saw a focus on our programs seniors which started with Senior Night at the Ice Haus on Friday night before the Olentangy Berlin game and continued with an amazing banquet at the school on Saturday night. Congratulations to the following seniors for their achievements on and off the ice and best wishes on all your future endeavors:

The action on the ice continues the theme of the year as the Varsity games each resulted in ties – even after an eight minute overtime period. Friday's contest versus Olentangy Berlin finished in a 4-4 draw while Sunday's rival game against Upper Arlington was a 1-1 stalemate.

 

Shout out to Hogan Mickey for a beautiful breakaway snipe in the second period (first video below) to knot things up after a first period UA goal staked them to an early lead. Goalie Dylan Bell held down the fort after that with 31 saves on the day.

The JVA team won their Friday night matchup with Olentangy Liberty (7-3) thanks to another hat trick from Simon Keller and goals from Jack Goodwin, Gabe Sotak & Evan Korasek. Sunday's afternoon rink rivalry game with Upper Arlington was an uphill battle the whole way with a 0-4 deficit in the first that remained the score until the final horn sounded.

JVB enjoyed the most success last weekend by winning all three of their games with their lone tally against given up on Friday night when they beat Gahanna 5-1. A 3-0 victory followed on Saturday versus DeSales before turning around and blanking Olentangy Orange 5-0 on Sunday. Great job boys!
