The St. Charles Hockey program won all their contests this past weekend, albeit with two games being cancelled due to Mother Nature's snowy December wrath. Finals week is upon us followed by a weekend up in the Cleveland area for the Padua tournament.

It’s also time for the St. Charles Hockey Alumni Game happening on Friday, December 26. Feel free to send this link to former players to have them sign up and play. The alumni game will take place at the Ice Haus after Varsity takes on Olentangy Orange @ 6pm with an expected start time around 8:00pm.
Before the Varsity Game, there will also be a Cardinal Skate that is open to future, current, and alumni families to come skate at the Ice Haus. Cardinal Skate will be at 4:50pm and end at 5:50pm.

Varsity:
Varsity played two games against the Olentangy Braves this past weekend as the scheduled matchup with Watterson was cancelled on Saturday night due to snow and hazardous road conditions. The Cardinals notched a 3-2 win in OT on Friday night at the Ice Haus after being down 0-2 after two periods. Two clutch goals from Simon Keller forced the extra period where Dylan Fansler made a fantastic save on a breakaway before Gabe Sotak sent everyone home happy with the game winner.
Sunday's rematch at Chiller North featured a balanced attack with two goals provided by both Jack Goodwin and Will Howard and a fifth compliments of freshly minted Assistant Captain Alex Martin. Dylan Bell held things in check in net to finish off a 5-2 victory. Varsity's next contests will be at the annual Padua tournement this weekend.
Next up: Walsh Jesuit at 4:00pm at Brunswick Auto Mart Arena on Friday, December 19.

SC White:
SC White had a single game this past weekend versus Dubin Jerome on Sunday at the Ice Haus. After coming from behind to tie the game on two separate occasions, the Cardinals took the lead on a last second goal from Jack Vilvens off a beautiful feed from Evan Korosec. Kellen Finegan and Jake Zink also scored for the Cards.
Next up: University School at 7:45pm at Mentor Ice Arena on Saturday, December 20.

SC Red:
SC Red had two contests last week and emerged victorious in both! They took on Olentangy Berlin Friday night at Ice Works and secured a 3-2 victory. Sunday featured a matchup with Kilbourne and the Cards pulled away in this one, winning by a final score of 6-2.
