With all three St. Charles hockey teams in action, the past week marked a return to school for the boys and a more normal routine.
Without further ado, read below for a recap for each team's results from January 5 - January 11.

Last Week's Results:
Varsity
The Varsity squad had a single game against New Albany on Sunday at the Ice Haus. The Cards took a two goal cushion into the third period thanks to scores by Will Howard and Gabe Sotak, but a turnover led to a breakaway goal for the Eagles in the third to cut the lead to one. Jack Jensen notched a goal on the power play with under five minutes left and then fed Ben Nickey on a beautiful feed to end the scoring at 4-1. Dylan Fansler held down the fort in net to secure the win.

SC White:
St. Charles has to be happy that they're done playing Olentangy Orange after three straight games against them over an eight day span. Fortunately, the Cards took care of business and won both games! Saturday's matchup was tight and featured goals from Evan Gough, Simon Hurt, Fritz Oberhammer & Jake Zink in what ended up being a 4-2 victory.
Sunday's rematch featured a balanced output of scoring with Simon Hurt starting things off with a power play goal before Orange tied things at 1-1 early in the second. Kellen Finegan, Zach Nusbaum, Jake Zink & Evan Gough all tallied goals to pull away after that while Leander Shearer continued his strong play in net for the win and a final score of 5-1.

SC Red:
St. Charles Red dropped the first game of their weekend by a score of 3-1 in a close matchup with Wothington Kilboune at Ice Works on Friday night.
Much like they have all season, SC Red bounced back in their next game with a 10-1 mauling of Thomas Worthington on Saturday at the Ice Haus. This group's resilence has been a theme all year long and it's great to see the production up and down the roster! Aiden Reel led scoring on the day with 4 (!) goals while Wyatt Cesarz, Matthew McKee, Finn Dawso, Jack Frencho, Bruce Hadden and Graham Roehrenbeck also found the back of the net. Goalies Sam Hockman and Gavin Hvizd paired together in net for the Cards.
