Last Week's Results:

Varsity

The Varsity squad traveled south to play Moeller at the always frigid Northland Ice Center last Friday. This one featured goalie Leander Schearer making his debut in net for varsity! The Cards marched out to a 2-0 lead in the first thanks to goals by Tommy Scharfenberger and Will Howard, but gave two back in the second before Simon Keller deposited what ended up being the game winnning goal with only twelve seconds left in the second period. The Cards held on to win by the final score of 3-2.

The rematch with Moeller coming to the Ice Haus on Saturday was more tame as the Cards got scoring from Will Howard (2), Jack Jensen, Jack Goodwin and Harry Hadden and a shutout in net by Dylan Bell. View the video above to see the assist from Dylan Bell to Owen Shelley to Will Howard to make the score 3-0 in what ended up being a 5-0 victory.

Next up: Culver at 7:30pm at Culver Academy on Friday, January 30

SC White:

SC White faced off twice with Olentangy Liberty last weekend and came away victorious in both contests. Friday's matchup was a tight 3-0 affair thanks to strong defense and netminding and goals from Evan Korosec (2) and Evan Gough.

The rematch on Saturday night occurred before the snow started making a mess of things as the Cards soared to a 7-2 win. Zach Nusbaum started the scoring while Jameson Hoffman, Max Spires (2), Evan Korosec (2), Evan Gough followed with goals of their own. SC White has had a tremendous season so far with a mark of 17-2-2.

SC Red:

St. Charles Red took care of business last Friday against a tough Dublin Jerome team at the Fairgrounds, notching a 5-1 win thanks to high energy and a full team effort. Aiden Reel led the scoring with a hat trick while Carmello Clay and Connor Kelbick also found the back of the net!

The boys put the same score up (5-1) the next night when they played the Westerville Warcats at Chiller Easton. Goal scorers for that matchup included Carmello Clay (2), Graham Roehrenbeck, Bruce Hadden and Alex Chahine. Lucas Somma got the win in net for the Cards.
