The stretch run of the hockey season is underway starting with Senior Night and back-to-back-to-back games for all three teams at the Ice Haus on Friday night.

A fairly standard week for the program brought about victories for each of our three squads as the program looks to build momentum going into the upcoming MLK Jr. tournament weekend.

Last week was relatively quiet for the program, but each team did take the ice and the first games of 2025 are in the books.

All three teams were in action over winter break with the Varsity squad playing three games, JVA playing in the Brother James Memorial Tournament & JVB facing off with Dublin Coffman.

Congrats to the Varsity squad for taking home this year's Padua Holiday Hockey Tournament trophy with a 4-0 overall record and 3-0 triumph in the championship game over University School.

The Cardinals found a good recipe for avoiding overtime by simply not letting their opponents score any goals over the entirety of the weekend.

The Varsity Cards continued their OT ways with both games going into extra time, while JVA & JVB won their games this past weekend.

Both Varsity and JVA traveled to South Bend for Thanksgiving Tournaments and finished as runner-ups in their divisions while JVB took fourth place back home in the 2024 Chiller Thanksgiving Classic.

After a relatively light week of action, all three Cardinals teams are gearing up for the Thanksgiving holiday followed by tournament action this weekend.

The St. Charles Varsity hockey squad began their regular season with an away game at Moeller and earned a hard fought comeback win 4-3 at the notoriously frosty Northland Ice Center.
